New record set in 2nd time trial

North Harringay set a new record as it raced Risley and St. Aidan’s primary schools in the second time trial event in this year’s League.

NHP sought to close the gap with Risley as its riders notched up impressive times on the 400m Finsbury Park track. However, the school’s performance did little to dent Risley Primary School’s commanding lead in the points table.

NHP achieved the top four fastest times, setting a new League record on the course of  51.86 seconds.

Risley once again dominated the girls races, recording the fastest time in the girls 26″ category.

St. Aidan’s also had a good day on the track, with their best results to date. Five of their riders recorded sub-minute times and the school ended up only 8 points behind Risley in the boys table for round 5.

For the next event on 8th May, the League returns to Chestnut Park for grass track racing.
