Risley extends lead in League table

Risley, St. Aidan’s and North Harringay primary schools met for an afternoon of grass track racing at Chestnuts Park for Round 6 of the League.

Each school took part in keirin and elimination races, in 24″ and 26″ boy and girl categories.

Risley’s girls dominated in both the keirin and elimination races.

The day saw some powerful riding from Risley, whose riders dominated the field, winning all but two races.

Risley took first and second place in all the girls races, and first place in both boys 24” races.

The school extended its lead in the points table to a seemingly unassailable 51 points.

NHP and St. Aidan’s struggled to compete against the quality and determination of the Risley riders. However, NHP did manage to take first place in both boys 26” races.

Round 7 of the League will take place on 12th June.
