The fourth event of the 2015 League was a time trial at the Finsbury Park Athletics Track.

Four schools fought against the clock, the wind and the rain in a gruelling time trial at the Finsbury Park Athletics Track.

Despite the weather, each team was able to ride twice around the 400m track, with their riders’ best times accruing points for the League Trophy competition.

Risley scored highest overall in the event, consolidating their lead in the competition.

Just behind in joint second were Muswell Hill and North Harringay, with both schools recording the fastest times for boys (52 seconds) and girls (1 min 1 sec, 54 seconds) in the 24- and 26-inch categories.

St. Aidan’s first run coincided with the worst of the weather, which may have affected their times as riders sought to stay upright on the wet track. They’ll have a chance to fight back when the League returns to the track for Round 5 next month.
