North Harringay, St. Aidan’s and Bruce Grove primary schools took part in a great day’s coaching and racing at the Lee Valley Velopark yesterday. For some, it was a return visit to this iconic venue, for others it was their first experience of riding at a specialised racing circuit.

Riders learnt about group riding techniques and gear selection, with everyone getting plenty of on-the-bike practice. The day ended with a series of races on the full, mile-long circuit.

The next HSCL event will be cyclo-cross in Finsbury Park on 2 December 2016. This will be Round 1 of the 2016-17 League, with points counting towards the end-of-League trophy.
