The inaugural event of the 2014-5 League saw North Harrringay race the newest member Muswell Hill Primary in a closely-fought cyclo-cross event in Finsbury Park.
Muswell Hill Primary took part in the first event of the 2014-5 League.
Boy and girl teams from each school competed in two rounds before coming together in a mixed final.
Muswell Hill’s girls narrowly beat North Harringay, who nevertheless managed to win in the overall standings.
However, their points will not count towards the trophy competition as there were not enough other teams available to race at the event.
The opening event of the competition will be a hill climb in Finsbury Park in October.
