North Harringay swept into top spot in the league at the end of Round 5 – a fast and furious indoor roller racing event day at St Mary’s – kindly hosting us again in their main hall.
Five schools competed – with raucous support from everyone present.
North Harringay recorded the two fastest times of the day: 29.61 seconds in the Year 5 Boys and 30.39 in the Year 6 Boys.
In the girls events, Stroud Green had the fastest time in Year 6 with 31.86 seconds and St Mary’s won Year 5 with 32.82.
In Year 4, Holy Trinity had the fastest time in the girls races and Belmont in the boys.
It was neck and neck for second place with only a point or two separating three of the teams, but Holy Trinity just pipped Stroud Green and Belmont.
It was great to see several Year 4 riders taking part again.

Round 6 will be an exciting grass racing event on Ducketts Common on Fri 15th March.
